• Christine Rice

    Christine is a registered private practising dietitian in Johannesburg. She completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology at the University of the Witwatersrand and her Bachelor of Science Medical (Honours) degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Cape Town. Christine is passionate about working with people to achieve their health goals through better nutrition. She believes nutrition plays an increasingly crucial role in addressing the health challenges associated with poor diet and low levels of exercise in modern society. Building on her experience working in hospitals in the UK, she runs a private practice in Sunninghill and has a subsidiary practice operating from the Vodacom head office in Midrand. Christine's key areas of interest include the nutritional management of lifestyle diseases, weight management and the field of sports nutrition. Christine is also involved in wellness programmes, writes a monthly sports nutrition column for the Modern Athlete magazine and has appeared on TV several times offering dietary-related advice. Christine has worked on the Private Practice portfolio for ADSA Gauteng South and is registered with the HPCSA and the American Dietetic Association.
